Among various dry powder classification methods, sieving is a popular method
used in many industries. However, in the existing sieving machines air flow
is one-way from above to below sieves, which often makes
sieves clogged and is not suitable for fine powder classification. On the
other hand, Spin Air Sieve enables short-time dry powder classificatrion with
less cloggings by dispersing samples on a sieve to primary particles with
circulating air so that fine powders can quickly go through the sieve.
When dust collecting cleaner starts to vacuum, external air is sucked from a gap between a sieve and a lid (0.5-1mm). At that time samples on the sieve lift up in the circulating air while dispersing. Fine powders in the samples are passing through the screen of the sieve. Pulses to the frame of the sieve remove clogging. Sieving time and pulse interval are adjustable with a timer.
