Rotary Catcher
Rotary Catcher is a remover of ultrafine mild steel and stainless
steel powders to prevent powder clogging.
It has a rotor with magnet
bars inside the rotary case.
Rotation of the magnetic rotor accelerates
powder dispersion and contact to solve powder clogging inside
a machine and achieve highly efficient removal of steel powders.
Feature
It is suitable for powders with a low fluidity because the rotating rotor prevents powder clogging inside a machine. It can be placed in-line. Using drum or grate magnets for steel removal in the preceding process and rotary catcher in the final process, highly effective steel removal can be expected. More than 15,000 gauss of strong magnets can catch several μm to 1mm fine steel powders that metal detectors cannot find. Disassemble, cleaning and assemble are easy. It effectively removes steel powders and by using multiple rotary catchers collection efficiency is much more improved. Stainless steeel powders can be also collected (depending on particle diameters and shapes).
Disassemble・Cleaning・Assemble
- Remove the rotor case handle and the lock nut and take out the magnetic rotor.
- Pull out the protected magnetic bars from sheath pipes.
- Steel powders released from magnets smoothly fall. Now cleaning is completed.
