DS-300

DS-300

The first step of powder studies is sampling i.e. to make representative samples. When a powder to be sampled is extreamly large, first take a large sample out and then split it into suitable amount of pieces for measurement. There are several splitting methods such as flow splitting which is used to sample particles cutting across particle flow, conical quartering, half splitting, and rotary indexing. Disk Sampler DS-300 is a continuous splitter developted from this rotary indexing with less variation, and can freely adjust sample amount.
